Erin was introduced to Buddhism as a child and began meditation practice in her late teens.
After university study and teacher training, she spent several years being a fulltime mum to her two daughters while continuing to practice meditation, initially in the Tibetan and Zen traditions and later with Theravadan and Insight teachers.
She studied Chi Gong in New Zealand and China and worked for some years as a Chi Gong teacher. This experience taught her the importance of a spiritual practice grounded in the lived experience of the body and she is committed to an holistic approach teaching embodied (somatic) meditation practices.
