Mindfulness is a direct and open experience of life as it unfolds.
The practice is simple – we turn up to fully feel this moment with curiosity and acceptance.
Along the way we notice that we leave the fullness of the moment – with concerns of the past, future and of ourselves.
With awareness, patterns can be seen for what they are and we come to directly experience an inherent sufficiency, ok ness, openness and responsiveness to life, as it is unfolds.
‘Silence is essential. We need silence just as much as we need air, just as much as plants need light. If our minds are crowded with words and thoughts, there is no space for us.’
Thich Nhat Hanh
‘It is indeed a radical act of love just to sit down and be quiet for a time by yourself.’
Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn

Lana Bright
Owner & Director of SPACE Studio
I trained with, and I’m endorsed by world-renowned yogi Sarah Powers, Insight Yoga Institute. My teaching orientates students towards dynamic and still practices for the body and mind: students are left feeling centered, strengthened, flexible and alert. My mindfulness training also draws from the work of Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn and my studies with the Mindfulness Training Institute Australasia.
For 30 years I’ve taught, coached & mentored individuals, groups & teams, supporting them to focus on developing their strengths while moving beyond barriers.
