The Buddha’s teaching on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness form the context and ground for developing insight, wisdom and an open heart.
Rather than being rooted in the conceptual realm, the Buddhist approach to mindfulness is one of full embodiment and direct presence with the fabric of here-and-now experience.
When coming to know our body, feeling and heart-states directly and with liberating perspectives, we become intimate with our human lives, and gain access to deeper levels of well-being and wonder. Through learning to stay in the heart of experience as it is actually arising (and not just from the stories our mind is telling us) we begin to find our true ground in this human life.
Cost: $20 on the day / unwaged places always available
No registration for the four weeks is required, but intention to participate would be appreciated as a courtesy.
