This meditation series is designed to help us to reconnect with our body using practices which support relaxation and awareness. These simple and powerful meditations open up our capacity to sense rich layers of experience which are not available to our thinking mind.
We will explore our body, mind and heart deeply and learn to release tense and dysfunctional patterns. We learn practices which reconnect us with the Earth, with the space within and around us and with our own profound heart of wisdom and compassion.
There will be guided lying-down and sitting meditations along with qigong practices which are suitable for all levels of health and fitness.
The first session on July 28 will begin with an introduction for newcomers. It is recommended that participants have some background in meditation and/or embodied practices such as yoga or Tai Chi.
